CASA Communications is an independent contract consultancy specializing in multifamily
communications; marketing; brand strategy and cultivation; and training, learning, and development.
Serving primarily multifamily and affordable housing communities, CASA brings over a decade of RPM, communications, DEIB, and education/training experience. CASA offers consultation and strategic services focused on cultivating vision, fostering engagement, and supporting teams through impactful training. As the multifamily industry continues to face increased challenges in public perception and reputation management, CASA utilizes a storytelling perspective to help teams craft, cultivate, and share their stories in ways that support both business growth and the growth of the people and cultures within and behind the business.
CASA was founded in 2024 by Khara House, a passionate voice in communications and culture. Prior to starting this consultancy, Khara worked in multifamily with a focus on resident and community relations, brand management, communications strategies, and DEIB. Khara’s background in writing, branding and communications, and education is rooted in her passion for storytelling, story-sharing, and engaging people and teams in meaningful conversations. Her work in DEIB earned her the National Apartment Association (NAA) Excellence Award for DE&I Champion of the Year in 2022. Khara focuses on strategic narratives and story-based brand cultivation, because she is passionate about helping both individuals and organizations grow and thrive by telling and owning their own stories.
